I'm sitting on a rock, a couple of metres from the sea. I have never seen this ocean before. Well, except in Lima.
A simple blanket of blue and white.
A crab shuffles past me and I notice that they don't always walk sideways. He feels with his legs the right route to take, before finally disappearing into a crevice, and my eye is soon distracted by another.
And all the time I'm cautiously aware that actually I'm not alone. But they are not my friends that are sitting over my left shoulder - I don't know them - and so yes, in fact, I am alone. I notice them go and I am left, just me and the sea. And the crabs and the crevices.
